LEARNING ABOUT LIFT IN FLIGHT

We learned that creating low pressure above the strips of paper caused the paper to lift up. 

The higher pressure under the paper forced it up.

We learnt about air pressure by condensing steam in a coke can.

The higher pressure outside the can because of the vacuum in the can,  made it collapse.

We had a brilliant trip to the Ulster Transport Museum on 4th June.  We saw lots of different types of transport and learnt about Innovators from Northern Ireland.

We shared what we had learnt about the Amazon Rainforest with the rest of the school, in assembly.

We had a brilliant time making clay frogs and painting them!

We made coffee and some people tasted it for the first time- Well done!

We had great fun tasting foods from the Rainforest

We really enjoyed our trip to Lisburn Linen Centre and learned lots about how linen was made.

We learned lots about fire safety from Mr Malcolmson

We had great fun drawing the mill
