September 2018 Settling In and Making Friends

Teddy Bears Picnic

We made our own sandwiches, had a picnic together with our teddy bears and then went for a lovely walk to 'The Wilds'

Making our own play dough 

Add 1/2 cup of salt

2 tablespoons of cream of tartar

1 cup of flour

1 cup of hot water

1 tablespoon of vegetable oil

A few drops of food colouring

Mix well until it turns into dough

Boogie Beat comes to visit us in Bronte Nursery Unit every month. Gemma is so much fun and we love to move and sing along with her and Wriggles the monkey.

A visit from the Fire Fighters

We learnt about fire safety and some children wanted to try on Andrew's uniform. We then went outside and squirted the hose. This was really good fun.

Next we got inside the fire engine and went for a ride around the round about. The sirens were very noisy and we enjoyed watching the flashing lights.
