Well done everyone!
We had a very early start on Monday 9th May, leaving school at 5.00am. We travelled by bus to Dublin, where we boarded the ferry for Holyhead in Wales.
Our first visit was the Etihad, Manchester City's football stadium.
We had a brilliant time at Flamingo Land, enjoying some really scary rides, seeing some animals and spending lots of money in the shop!
In the evening we had a great time 10 pin bowling.
On Wednesday, we spent the day in the beautiful city of York, where our first stop was the National Railway Museum.
We then walked to the magnificent York Minster, and had a short walk along the old city wall on the way.
We walked through a really old part of the city and finished the day with a visit to the Jorvik Centre, where we learned lots about how the Vikings lived over 1000 years ago.
After a very early breakfast on Thursday morning, we left the hotel and travelled to the Bronte Parsonage in the lovely village of Haworth. It was very interesting to see inside the home where Patrick Bronte lived with his famous daughters.
Time to go home!
We travelled back to Holyhead and crossed the sea on a faster ferry, which was quite an experience in itself!
We had a great time on our trip and made lots of special memories.
Thank you to everyone who helped to make the trip such a success
We really enjoyed the Eat Them To Defeat Them Challenge!
Lots of people tried vegetables they had never tried before.
Thank you to our kitchen for all the lovely vegetables they provided.
